Getting Started
What is OnSoCo?
-
OnSoCo is a social contest app where people create challenges, enter contests, vote on entries, and win—right inside the app.
-
No DMs. No forms. No sketchy steps. Everything happens in one place.
Is OnSoCo free to use?
-
Yes. Browsing, entering contests, and voting are free. Some creators may offer optional paid contests or premium features, but you’ll always see that clearly upfront.
Do I need an account to participate?
-
You can browse without an account, but you’ll need to create one to enter contests, vote, or create your own challenges. It only takes a moment.
Which is better: popular vote or random?
-
Neither is better—it depends on the goal of the contest.
-
Popular vote works well for skill-based or showcase contests where community feedback matters. Random selection is great for low-pressure, just-for-fun contests where everyone should have an equal chance to win. That’s why OnSoCo supports both, and why the rules always clearly explain which method is being used.
Entering Contests
How do I enter a contest?
-
Open a contest, review the rules, tap Enter, and submit your entry. That’s it.
-
If it feels easy… that’s intentional.
-
Check out this video on how this is done here.
Can anyone enter a contest?
-
Most contests are open to everyone unless the creator sets age, location, or category requirements. You’ll always see eligibility details before entering.
Can I enter more than once?
-
You can only enter a contest one time per account.
Voting & Winners
How does voting work?
-
Voting happens directly inside the app. If a contest is decided by popular vote, entries with more thumbs up are more likely to win. Some contests are decided randomly instead—when that’s the case, thumbs up don’t affect the outcome. The contest rules will always tell you which method is being used.
How are winners selected?
-
Each contest defines its own method—popular vote or by random draw. No surprises, no hidden mechanics.
When do winners get announced?
-
Once the contest timer ends, results are finalized and posted in the app. Winners are notified directly—no emails pretending you won something you never entered.
Why use random winners?
-
Some contests are designed to give everyone an equal chance to win, regardless of popularity or following size. Random selection helps keep things fair, lowers pressure, and makes contests more accessible—especially for new users. When a contest uses random winners, it will always be clearly stated in the rules.
Creating Contests
Can I create my own contest?
-
Yes. Anyone can create a contest on OnSoCo. Whether it’s for fun, or creativity, you control the rules, timeline, and entry type.
-
Here is how you create a contest here.
What kinds of contests are allowed?
-
Creative challenges, gaming clips, photos, videos, ideas, and more. We don’t allow harmful, misleading, or unsafe content—and moderation helps keep things fun and fair.
Do I need to offer a prize?
-
If there is a prize, it will always be clearly described. Only professional accounts verified by OnSoCo can offer prizes for contests. Otherwise all contest winners will win Owards (bragging rights, of course).
Safety & Trust
Is this actually a real contest platform?
-
Yes. Every contest lives inside the app, has visible rules, a timer, and real entries.
-
No DMs. No external forms. No “click this link to claim.”
Will someone message me asking for payment or info?
-
No. OnSoCo will never ask you to pay or share personal information via direct messages. If something looks suspicious, report it directly in the app.
How is content moderated?
-
We use a combination of automated checks and human review. Content that violates rules can be flagged, reviewed, and removed.
Accounts & Settings
Can I edit or delete my entry?
-
You can delete an entry, but you cannot edit your entry. You will need to delete it and re-enter the contest.
How do I delete my account?
-
You can manage or delete your account from the app’s settings. If you need help, our support team is happy to assist.

Closing FAQ
Why is this so simple?
-
Because contests should be fun—not complicated.
